About the Founder
Matthew Johnson has spent nearly two decades in the architecture industry, supporting projects from early pursuits through construction and working across many roles. His experience spans corporate campuses, convention centers, education, government, hospitality, science and technology, tenant improvements, urban planning, and workplace design.
Matthew has built and led teams, developed and managed budgets, tracked project performance, and worked inside the realities of practice. What became clear over time is that strong design alone does not create a healthy firm, it's also about establishing good relationships and operating a great business.
StudioLedger was created to help architecture firms bring structure, visibility, and decision clarity to the business, so principals can lead effectively, scale deliberately, and protect their designs, their people and their business.
